The Pigram Brothers are a seven piece country folk/rock band from Broome (North Western Australia). Although officially formed in 1996, the six brothers and country-man Paul Mamid have been involved in the music industry for over 20 years (including Midnight Oil tour partners, Scrap Metal). Their previous album Saltwater Country received national TV exposure with an ABC documentary of the same name, and in February 2002, the Pigram Brothers were the subject of an episode of the highly rated ABC TV documentary series "Heart Of The Country". Jiir was produced by Kerryn Tolhurst (Jeff Lang, Russell Crowe, Chris Wilson).
