Ride ushers in the new year with the announcement of a new record Interplay, out March 29 on Wichita Records/[PIAS]. Emerging in the 1990s alongside legendary shoegaze bands such as my bloody valentine and Slowdive, Ride distinguished themselves from their contemporaries with a more melodic and jangly sound that emerged on records such as Nowhere (1990) and Going Blank Again (1992). After a near 20 year hiatus, Ride returned to touring in 2014 and in 2017 released their first new music since their return Weather Diaries and followed it up in 2019 with This Is Not A Safe Place.
