This album will double the inspiration for those who have experienced the temple stay, and will serve as a useful guide along with indirect experiences for those who have not experienced it yet. It is a very suitable record when you want to widely publicize our unique healing cultural content program, Templestay, and introduce Korean traditional Buddhist culture and history, and it is also a good gift for foreigners who are interested in it.

Praise and recommendation from broadcasting/meditation/culture circles

“Music that comes to us as a melodious melody to those of us who are tired of life and survival lead us to think about our 'true self'.” - Choi Yun-hee PD (Buddhist broadcasting program 'Listening with the Heart' conducted by Venerable Jeongmok, current PD of Ulsan Buddhist Broadcasting 'Healing & Feeling'

) It is music that is listened to with a heart that gives healing and relaxation” - Kim Jin-mook (Meditation Musician & Columnist)

“Just listening to it, the temple stay experience is drawn to the eye, and it is like a small comma in my heart that gives me relaxation and healing!” - Namgoongseon (Author of Temple Stay Guide & Director of Paramil Nursing Hospital)

Album Commentary

We modern people, who only look forward and run as if competing for success and challenges, say that 'the nerve switch in our body is always turned on' due to excessive desire and obsession of mind in daily life. The tension and chronic stress caused by this always makes us suffer from fatigue. These days, templestay is getting more and more love, transcending religion. This is because it fits well with the 'healing' trend that has recently become a hot topic. 'Temple Stay' is our unique healing cultural content program that allows you to get away from your daily life for a while, put down your worldly desires and obsessions, stay overnight in a quiet mountain temple, look back on yourself, and take a break and recharge, like a small comma in your mind. The word originates from the anecdote of Yeongga Hyeon-gak, a Zen master of the Tang Dynasty, and is also in line with 'Ilsuk-gak', which means 'to take a night off' or 'stay overnight and gain enlightenment'.

CD1 expresses the theme and content of the program on the first day of Temple Stay through music. The first song, “Flower,” contains the excitement and anticipation of participating in the temple stay in a refreshing and gentle melody. The second song, “The Time Before Sunset,” depicts the evening offering that begins when the sun sets in Seosan and casts a long shadow. When the evening service begins, the bell is rung 33 times. “Caldle Light in the Old Budddhist Monastery”, tea symbolizes nectar in Buddhism, and the mind of drinking tea is the same as the mind of meditation, and the mind of meditation is the same as the mind of drinking tea. It contains 14 songs that express the music from the entrance ceremony at Temple Ste to bedtime, including “Whisper of the Wind” and “Dewdrop on Lotus Leaf,” which evokes infinite joy that blooms like a lotus flower in the heart.

CD2 is the schedule for the second day, “Dancing Crystal,” which expresses the sound of a wooden table announcing the morning of a quiet mountain temple with the clear and brilliant sound of a crystal gold, a xylophone-shaped instrument made by carving a natural crystal, a spiritual gem containing the energy of purification, and the sound of a prayer for Buddhist monks to take refuge in the three treasures of Buddhist monks and a congratulatory message to achieve the original power of ascetic practice. “Everlasting Divine Poetry,” which expresses the public chanting solemnly to the tune of “I take refuge in and pray for the Three Treasures (Everlasting Divine Poetry),” which expresses the way muddy water sinks and becomes calm and clear water, “Harvest,” which expresses the disappearance of afflictions, calmness and peace of mind, and the springing of wisdom; “The Jewel Bo Tree,” which depicts Siddhartha meditating under a Bodhi tree; It contains 14 songs depicting the second day of the temple stay, from Buddhist stone to the hometown of the temple, including “The Tree of Life,” a calm and melodic melody of the piano, flute, and guitar that thrills the whole body, and “Strolling in the Garden,” a light walk through the precincts in the early morning as if walking lightly in the precincts.

If you listen to the music and read the commentary on the album and the testimonials of the entire temple stay in the form of travel and impressions, the effect of inspiration will be doubled for those who have experienced the temple stay, as if you are in a mountain temple right now, and for those who have not yet experienced it, it will be a useful guide along with indirect experience. When your mind keeps wandering in your daily life and you feel tired and depressed due to stress, listen to these songs with your heart while reflecting on your experience at the time of the temple stay in your heart! Then, your mind will be controlled with Sinabro, you will feel more comfortable, and your life will change to a happy and positive attitude.
