SEASON 1 Multiple Emmy Award winner Jean Smart stars as a legendary Las Vegas comedian who is forced to hire an ambitious young writer (Hannah Einbinder). These two talented comedic voices from different generations form an unlikely bond in this new comedy from Broad City alums Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky and Emmy Award winning executive producer Michael Schur (Parks & Recreation).
SEASON 2 Season 2 of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series continues to explore the evolving relationship between legendary Las Vegas comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her young, up-and-coming comedy writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) as the pair embark on a cross-country road trip workshopping Deborah's new stand-up routine. Jean Smart won an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award for her performance in Season 1, while Hannah Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Jane Adams all received Emmy nominations. Season 2 features new recurring guest stars Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen and Susie Essman, with guest appearances by Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa.
