My advice, don't bother, hands down, this is the worst movie I've seen in the last 20 years, it's rubbish, save your money, you'd be better to buy an Abbott and Costello movie instead, I wish I had

A hurricane attacks Louisiana, along with wild storms, rain, and flooding. People within the community are told to leave the area as quickly and safely as possible; however, we soon see first-hand within the opening scene that escaping or trying to stay dry and remain safe is not an easy task. We witness a pair of strangers working together. They manage to find somewhere to hold up until the storm passes. They nail the doors and windows shut, but the winds are just too strong. On top of the challenges of dealing with the storm, the pair soon discover they are not alone; an enormous crocodile invites itself inside and attacks them both. Next are then introduced to a group of prisoners in transit on a bus. These criminals are the worst kind, robberies, vandalism, murder, you name it. One of the criminals is Russell Cody (Casper Van Dien), a cop killer who has been sentenced to life without parole. While driving in the heavy rain, the drivers are struggling to see the road, and soon, with no choice, the on-route plans change, and the entire group gets diverted to another prescient. The prescient's sheriff, Jo Newman (Nicky Whelan), is displeased to hear the news about the bus of visitors as she is currently dealing with her own challenges in the building, such as flood waters. Eventually, the bus arrives at its destination; however, at the same time, it is followed by an armed team led by a dangerous man named Rafe (Louis Mandylor), who has a personal mission of his own which relates to one of the prisoners. What’s worse, large crocodiles from the roof have also just entered the building. Now, law officers, criminals and a skilled armed team must come together to survive the storm, with multiple crocodiles who all crave fresh blood. The Flood carries a mixed genre of action, thriller, and horror. As you may have already guessed, The Flood has a similar plot outline to Assault on Precent 13 with an added dash of some killer crocodiles. On the positive side, some key actors have fun moments, particularly Casper Van Dien and Luis Mandylor, which will entertain some film buffs. The film's music score also has appropriate and fitting moments, plus the whole concept of a film like Assault on Precinct 13 with crocodiles will carry some appeal too. The location and setting for most of the film is also pleasing. Overall, a film with the exact premise of Assault on Precinct 13 with some killer crocodiles does sound greatas a plot outline. However, The Flood is a disappointing feature with a few small praises going out, such as some fun moments from actors Casper Van Dien and Louis Mandylor, with a fitting music score. The film is highly predictable right from the start, and worse, the film's dialogue lacks excitement and feels simple-minded. As for the crocodiles, this is a saddening sight as the CGI here is weak, which only cheapens the entire feature and, in return, lacks scares and any form of realism for horror lovers. * This review has been written for Sanity.
