Jung Mi-jo's historical comeback album, '37 Years', has garnered a lot of attention with her graceful voice that shows the depth of her life and her outstanding musical perfection. This album was produced by Son Seong-je, a saxophonist who is leading the Korean jazz scene. In addition, top jazz musicians such as Goh Sang-ji, an unrivaled bandoneon player, Lee Hee-kyung (vibraphone), Jeong Su-wook (guitar), Park Yun-woo (guitar), Kim Eun-young (piano), Nam Meari (keyboard), Lee Soon-yong (bass), Seo Su-jin (drums), Kim Jeong-gyun (percussion), etc. Musicians participated and made the album shine. In addition to producing, Seongje Son took charge of composing and arranging most of the album, leading Jung Mi-jo to return to the music industry. The lyrics of the song were written by Lee Joo-yeop, the lyricist of Choi Baek-ho's album, and Park Chang-hak, Yoon-sang's 'soul mate'.
In 1979, when she was at the height of her popularity, Mi-jo Jeong suddenly retired from the music industry and went to Paris to study art in pursuit of her artistic dream. Afterwards, he received many love calls from the media and producers, but he never returned to the music world and walked the path of a painter. In 2016, 37 years later, she released a new album and returned dramatically to the music industry in order to reopen her long-buried dream of becoming a singer.
