The beat of the cinematic xrface (surface) and the organic nature of the album maximize the narrative of this film. Without being confined to the framework of the genre, Surface put their heart and soul into realizing their own music, and as you can see in the pre-released single [Self-esteem], the message that runs through this album is 'Addiction < LOVE'. It is known as Owen of boom bap, and the POEM series has been produced as a boom bap-based album, but this time, it was produced in a form that deviated from the dichotomy of boom bap and trap that listeners commonly understand.
