The Bowls is a team composed of junior high school music club seniors and has been one of the most active teams in the Korean indie scene for the past 10 years. They first appeared under the folk name 'ttukbaegi'. When the first EP was released in 2015, leader Seo Gun-ho, who writes and composes all the songs, was only 19 years old and the youngest. Before the album debut, when Seo Gun-ho was still a high school student, he had seen Ttukbaegi perform live. He was very surprised to see his still-young friend playing the amazing blues-inspired guitar. He thought, 'Another prodigy guitarist has come out.' Seo Gun-ho's guitar skills are recognized by everyone in the music world. He is trusted by senior musicians such as Lowdown 30, Tattles, Seong Jin-hwan, and Oh Ji-eun, and entrusts guitar sessions to him.

With the good response of this album in 2022, The Bowls had the most robust year since their debut. They stood on the stage of the big festivals they dreamed of, toured nationwide, and appeared on programs that notable teams must go through, such as Naver On Stage. It is a case of wings attached to the prepared team.
Their creative power, which is still tireless, is said to be preparing for another full-length album this year. The Bowls, who have mastered the great musical heritage of the past, have an identity as album artists unlike other young musicians. Dropping one or two songs at a time seems awkward and unsatisfying to them. This time, I will be able to move on to the real France and work face-to-face with Pedro. Another masterpiece is already expected.

[Blast From The Past] is an album released in the digital age, but it is an album in which fossils and legacy of popular music of the past are piled up. It is a record that is very suitable for analog listening. It was unfortunate to listen only to CD and digital files, but it is very nice to be released as a vinyl like this again.
