After the wildly successful first compilation of lovers rock covers of soul songs curated by Sam Don for the label Athens of the North in 2020, it was a no brainer to introduce a second volume in late 2021. Unfortunately there was a licensing dispute with one of the songs by Sonia. To remedy the issue, the song was replaced by the equally gorgeous 'Don't Look Any Further', originally sung by Dennis Edwards & Siedah Garrett, as covered by Byron Walker and Sandra Edwards.
