The Fabulous Thunderbirds release On the Verge, their breakout recording for Severn Records. Original front man, Kim Wilson leads the band through an all original 10-song exploration of blues-tinged soul which marks a new beginning for the band. Wilson cites, "we're defining our own genre", and that's just what they've done by crafting a fresh sound that's sure to satisfy die-hard fans while bringing new blood into the fold of the band's faithful legion. Backing Wilson are veteran T-Birds guitarists Johnny Moeller and Mike Keller, plus bassist Randy Bermudes and Jason Moeller on drums. Co-producer/songwriter Kevin Anker guests on keyboards.
