hyun's band's 2nd regular album [2021] LP release

Na Sang-hyun's band started with the EP album "Cjiritchirit" in 2015 and has been working tirelessly, releasing two full-length albums, four EP albums, and numerous singles to date. It was also recognized for its potential in contests such as winning the 31st Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest Encouragement Award, being selected as the 2021 Muse On Artist, and winning the 2020 Green Plugged Rookie Green Friends. In addition, the EP [Feast] and the first regular album [We] were selected as one of the 10 Best Alternative/Rock Albums of the year through the webzine HelloKpop, and their musical value was also recognized.

The 2nd regular album [2021] is a story of moving toward the future while missing the past but not letting go of the present and checking each other living together in this time. The two LPs show a wide spectrum, crossing various genres such as modern rock, indie pop, folk, punk, and synth-pop.

“Greetings,” a song that announces the start of the album with an orchestral sound at the forefront, “Domino,” the title song that harmonizes the indie-pop elements that Na Sang-hyun’s band has shown so far, and “Answer,” which goes beyond the pre-release track “All Over,” shows folk colors and sensibilities. ” and “Last Days”, there are also songs with attractive rock sounds, such as “As You Like” and “Summer Light”. “Twelve O’Clock” has an attractive lo-fi yet sophisticated feel, along with the intro track “Sunset” with an impressive use of various samples; It is full of songs that show a wide sound spectrum, such as "Our Time", which concludes the album with C-Band's signature indie pop.

[2021] is another expansion of Na Sang-hyun's band, which has built its own identity by breaking down the boundaries of the genre. Through this album, which expands the wide spectrum shown through previous albums, Na Sang-hyun's band shows that they do not try to group their music into any one genre. [2021], which combines the familiar elements of Korean indie music with the latest overseas indie sound and composition, shows the birth of a new Korean style indie pop.
