Bob's Burgers - The Movie Blu-Ray

This animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure is based on the long running Emmy- winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob's Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family's restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

PRODUCT REVIEWS

Bobs Burgers has been a staple in adult animation for over 10 years, with 11 seasons and counting of the show currently available (you can also pick these titles up on DVD now). The Belcher family has become a staple in my popular culture diet. I adore these characters, from Bob's cynicism, to Lindas hopeless optimism, there is honestly something to love for everybody. When it was announced that the Belcher family would be headed to the big screen, I was a little concerned that with the Disney/Fox merger, the film would fall by the wayside, however, in May of 2022, Disney and 20th Century Studios, released 'Bobs Burgers: The Movie' to the big screen. The film feels like a long episode of the show, which is simply wonderful. I had an absolute blast with 'Bobs Burgers: The Movie'. The likeability of the Belcher family is still intact, with Gene, Louise and Tina solving a murder mystery, whilst Bob, Linda and Teddy try and save the buisness by taking 'Bobs Burgers' on the go. It is delightful and filled with all of your favourite characters. Kevin Kline's fantastic Mr Fishodor makes an appearance as he is the main suspect in the murder case, and the Belcher children are doing everything they can to uncover the mystery and save their parents business in the process. The story is absurd, which is exactly what fans of 'Bobs Burgers' are looking for. It was refreshing to see a 2D animated film (whilst digitally enhanced), on the big screen again. Not since the 3D re-release of 'The Lion King' have I seen a 2D animated film on the big screen and it was great. The animation is gorgeous, maintaining the style of the series, whilst updating the visuals for the big screen. It was just delightful. The film also has an amazing song and dance sequence, a hallmark of the 'Bobs Burgers' series. I absolutely adored it and had a great time with the sequence, which is just one of many memorable scenes in the film. 'Bob's Burgers: The Movie' was a lot of fun. It was witty and filled with the character traits of one of our favourite TV families. If you're a fan of the series, then this is a must watch and if you're unfamiliar with the show, then this is a great launching point. Definitely check this one out.
