As a fan born in the UK in the 90s, I didn't think I'd get to see The Seekers live & I was therefore honoured to be able to see this tour live. At times, I would close my eyes & you could be forgiven for thinking that you had travelled back 50 years to when these songs were first released, their voices still so pure. If anything, Judith, Keith, Bruce & Athol's voices have only got better & better as the decades have passed. This is made even more remarkable after Judith's ill-health. When compared to the DVD of the same show, there is no comparison - this is far superior. The CD itself, for me, is better than the Farewell CD, as it has a longer setlist & included some of their gospel music too. Musically, it is brilliant. Vocally - there are no words. The only issues for me are that there are a number of elongated pauses between songs, parts of their speeches have been cut at random times &, sadly, The Carnival Is Over has been reduced in length - that performance lasted a good 5 minutes, yet lasts 3 minutes 33 seconds. The encore has been cut. Having said this, it is a lovely memento of an enchanting evening.
