The cinematic Monsterverse has been a triumph for Warner Bros and Universal. The franchise has bought in over $1 billion worldwide, with audiences actually enjoying the films. The franchise was building up to a fight between the two biggest titans doing battle and boy did it deliver. Godzilla vs Kong follows the epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another - the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong - with humanity caught in the balance. So how was Godzilla vs Kong? Godzilla vs Kong was awesome. It was exactly what I wanted from this film. Filled with pulsating action, thrilling special effects and all the monster action you could possibly want. The film is littered with destruction and monster action which is exactly what the fans asked for. The characetrs are pretty forgettable, but you don’t go to this movie expecting to connect with eh characters, no, you go to see giant monsters punching each other and that’s exactly what you get. Director Adam Wingard has so much fun, showing wide shots of these two monsters going at it, which is exactly what we as an audience wanted to see. Its crazy, its big and it’s so much fun! Godzilla vs Kong is no masterpiece but it is damn entertaining and needs to be experienced by monster fans and those looking for some blockbuster entertainment. I had a blast with this one, and I am giving Godzilla vs Kong a 4/5. Be sure to pick this on up on either Blu-Ray or 4K UHD, you will not be disappointed! Best movie ever, this movie was by far the greatest monster verse film ever, as Kong was the main character meaning a monster was in the movie at all times. The fight scenes where absolutely stunning and all scenes with Godzilla where the best scenes in a movie I have seen.

In the present day, Godzilla continues to hide from the world, and years have passed since we last saw him in Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019). But out of nowhere, Godzilla comes back to the surface destroys a massive high-tech company. The world is now shaking in fear as Godzilla makes his return to the surface. As for King Kong, he is safe and sound in a gigantic dome that has been created to look like Skull Island. But Kong is growing, and the world will need to find him a new home soon. With Godzilla on the loose, it is now up to a small group of people to save the world. Dr Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgard) & Dr Ilene Andrews (Rebecca Hall) have been called upon to journey into the Earth’s centre and find an energy source that will save the world. The only catch is that they require a monster to lead the way! This crew have no choice but to ask the mighty Kong's help and deal with various obstacles along the way, including attacks from Godzilla himself! Returning characters Madison (Millie Bobby Brown) & her father, Mark (Kyle Chandler). Both returning characters have their own side mission in the film as they question why Godzilla would suddenly return. If you are a movie lover who enjoyed the previous instalments and are excited to see action sequences between Godzilla and Kong, you will be impressed with this release. I am proud to say the film has made some huge improvements with the monsters’ looks and sci-fi elements. The film’s audio tracks and brilliant visuals were also solid. Overall, it is the massive battle that movie lovers worldwide have wanted to see and when it comes between Godzilla Vs. Kong, the film generally delivers stunning visuals and an outstanding audio track to complement it. Movie lovers who have loved the previous Godzilla/Kong instalments will most definitely enjoy this release! This review has been written for Sanity.
