Occupation - Rainfall Blu-Ray

A wild and war torn dystopian vision of the land down under comes to life in the most ambitious sci fi film ever produced in Australia. Luke Sparkes highly anticipated follow-up to the 2018 OCCUPATION picks up two years into an intergalactic invasion of Earth where survivors in Sydney, Australia are fighting back in a desperate ground war. As casualties mount by the day, the resistance and their unexpected allies uncover a plot that could see the war come to a decisive end. With the alien invaders hell-bent on making Earth their new home, the race is on to save mankind.

PRODUCT REVIEWS

The sequel begins with the returning group of survivors, who are all from Sydney, Australia. Continuing from the previous instalment titled Occupation (2018), the aliens creatures that landed on Earth two years ago continue to try and take ownership of Australia! This time, while trying to fight against the aliens, our leads make a massive discovery about an upcoming threat that could destroy everything in its path. This new threat is known as "Rainfall", and whatever it is, it's coming quicker than the world and our survivors hoped for. Once again, it is up to Matt (Dan Ewing) and his new alien teammate, nicknamed Gary (Lawrence Makoare), to leave Sydney and find out more about the term called Rainfall and do everything they can to stop it. But Matt's journey will not be a simple one, filled with surprises and many enemies who will try to slow them. Meanwhile, the remaining characters from the previous film - Amelia (Jet Tranter), Dennis (Zac Garred), Captain Wessex (Mark Coles Smith) & Abraham (David Roberts)- are evacuating the remaining survivors from Sydney as it comes under serious attack. While they escape successfully, Sydney is sadly destroyed. Overall, this is a massive improvement on the previous instalment and Occupation: Rainfall includes some stunning visual effects. Director Luke Sparke again goes to the next level in his directional career as he brings something more exciting than ever before. As a sequel, it’s certainly a brainless and visually pleasing film to view, no matter the film's flaws. *This review has been written for Sanity.
