Many outstanding figures participated on the sessions including Joe Newman, Thad Jones, Conte Candoli, Bob Brookmeyer, Al Cohn, Milt Hinton, Urbie Green, Jimmy Cleveland, Hank Jones, Freddie Green, Eddie Costa and Osie Johnson.
