Pitchfork wrote of that album "Elvis Perkins has emerged as an assured, fully-formed cosmopolitan able to merge readily recognizable influences with a sense of theatre." The record is being released under Perkins own label MIR under exclusive license to Petaluma Records - a new label venture founded by Nion McEvoy (San Francisco Chronicle and Chronicle Books). With a little bit of luck, Perkins and his band will be hitting the road (post-pandemic) on a worldwide tour in support of Creation Myths in Spring 2021
