PRODUCT REVIEWS

The year is 2038. George (Theo James) is a skilled computer engineer. Currently he is working in a secret base where he is working on many repairs to get the base in operation. While doing repairs, George is also working on building new A.I. robots. Before being sent to the base, George and his partner were involved in a tragic car accident which took the life of George's love. But before she died, he was able to transfer her into an Archive, a storage system that allows you to say goodbye to those you love. George is creating his new A.I. Robots hoping that one day he will make one good enough to transfer the mind of wife into it so they can be together again. But while George’s robot is near finished, several issues occur. He receives pressure from the company he works for to get the security at the base fixed. Also, George finds odd issues happening around the base. He begins to question many things, such as why the security systems keep dying or why they have different parts after he has fixed them. George is also dealing with one of his A.I. creations, becoming envious of his newest creation. Overall, I found this film to be a brilliant sci-fi film that delivers a freshness in its visuals and plot. The plot moves along at a great pace thanks to the mystery and its build-up, and I found most of this film unpredictable and please. Actor Theo James also brings a great performance to the screen. If you are seeking a new type of sci-fi film, this one comes easily recommended. This review has been written for Sanit.
