The album was (nearly) entirely written during the great isolation of 2020 and recorded remotely with band members all sending in their parts to be synced later.

It features See You When I'm Looking At You - the 'chain recording' Mick conceived by writing a single verse and chorus and then throwing open his address book to see who else wanted to add to it.

It ended being a stunning cross section of inter generational talent with all states in the country represented. The list is impressive: Angie Hart, Nick Barker, Vikki Thorn (The Waifs), Darren Hanlon and Shelley Short, Alana Jagt, Brooke Russell, Van Walker, Ron S Peno (Died Pretty), Alannah Russack (The Hummingbirds), Dana Gehrman, Ben Salter, Jen Anderson (Strings) & Ben Salter (Gin Club).

The single Mint Condition is the theme for a short form drama series released on Vimeo during the lockdown that became a quick fan favourite featuring a number of local artists on the soundtrack. With two versions of See You When... the seven track album weighs in at a surprising 35 minutes and sounds incredibly coherent for something constructed in such a disparate fashion.
