As singer songwriter for the popular Cuban group Chiko & the Man, Elio Rodriguez established a name for himself as a romantic singer of exceptional quality. His formidable songwriting talents led to his writing songs for the popular meringue singer Johnny Ventura and the Colombian Cumbia group Sonora Dynamita.
