One of Brubeck's most popular albums, it continued the explorations in unusual time signatures that the group began on their previous LP TIME OUT. As a bonus, we have added two songs from the same sessions not included on the original LP, the blues 'Non-Sectarian Blues', taped in London that same year (this was the pianist's only recorded collaboration with the great Charles Mingus), and an extremely rare live broadcast by the quartet recorded also in 1961, which contains an alternate version of 'It's a Raggy Waltz'.
