is a unit band formed by Mongoose, who has been active as a band Mongoose and solo project Neon, and Kim Jin, a webtoon writer well-known for his webcomic 'Nice Gene Time'. Jin Kim, who was full of vague longing for musicians, and Mongu, who wanted to try something a little different from the music he had been doing so far.

Pizzicato's work that started last summer, the process of deciding the concept for the album and making the songs was a repetition of numerous meetings and fights. The process of reconciling their opinions until both of them, who had been active in different fields, were convinced and satisfied, would not have been easy. Pizzicato's EP [Couple Song] is the valuable result of such trial and error.

Above all, Kim Jin was more zealous because he did not want to rely only on the role of Mongu, who had been active as a professional musician for a long time, and he did not want to be someone else in his career. She didn't want to say that she took part in it by dipping her toes into it, but in the end, she made her debut as a musician successfully by immersing her whole body in her album work from beginning to end.

Realistic love story [Couple Song]

The entire song of Pizzicato's Ep [Couple Song] was composed of Mongu's song, lyrics written by Kim Jin, and the voices of the two. As the album name suggests, all the songs on the album are couple songs. However, it is interesting that it is not just a universal couple song that whispers sweet love. Like the name Pizzicato, the plump and bright melody catches the ear first, but the sympathetic lyrics from experience reflect a realistic love story that is not always sweet. Consisting of five songs, 'Meeting - Pushing and Pushing - Love Love - Boredom - Breaking Up', this EP can be interpreted as a process from a couple's meeting to a breakup, or it has nothing to do with each couple's individual situation.

Mongoo, who was in charge of composing, arranging, and playing [Couple Song], shows a new side with an acoustic sound that has not been heard in mongoose or neons. He said that it was an opportunity for him to learn and study a lot for himself. On the other hand, Kim Jin, who had a complex about her childlike voice, is said to have overcome her complex after hearing that her tone is unique and good in her recording studio.
