Ziúr is the experimental club project of Mika Risiko, a producer and DJ based in Berlin. Her tracks typically contain harsh, explosive noises twisted into jagged rhythms, sounding forceful and chaotic yet still controlled enough to be danceable.
Risiko previously played in the riot grrrl band Sissters, and her solo work maintains a similar punk spirit, but is more aligned with the 2010s deconstructed club styles of crews and labels like Janus Berlin and Halcyon Veil.
