Born near the city of Bergen, AURORA began writing music and lyrics at a young age, releasing her debut single "Awakening" in 2013, following up with "Under Stars" which led her to be signed by American label Glassnote Records.
AURORA came to further prominence in 2015, as she covered Oasis' track "Half the World Away" for the John Lewis Christmas ad before following up with the release of her debut album "All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend," which charted at number one in Norway and across Western Europe.
She released Infections of a Different Kind (Step I) in 2018, as the first part of the two album release, and A Different Kind of Human (Step II) is now to be released via AWAL / Inertia.
