PRODUCT REVIEWS

Fighting With My Family focuses on the Knight family where the entire crew (Dad, Mum, Son & Daughter) are all incredibly passionate about wrestling. During their day to day life, the family work together to on put wrestling shows around London, England. Soon it’s announced that both the brother and sister within the family have been invited for tryouts to become the next WWE superstar.

But during tryouts, one of the family members gets accepted while the other is told to go home. One member family will now begin their journey of having their dreams and desires fulfilled while the other faces the feelings of failure. This is based on a true story about a family who really love to fight.

This is a fun, feel-good film. The film covers many complimentary messages about family, passion, failure, confidence, personal dream, never giving up, and I honestly could go on and on.

The family is hilarious to watch, which is mostly thanks to actor Nick Frost who plays the Family’s Father and an Ex-wrestler (and ex-con!). The family’s dialogue is very believable, and I was surprised to find it’s filled with heartfelt scripting.

Overall, I feel this film deserves more acknowledgement than it has received as it has gone somewhat under the reader. There’s lots of praise to give this film as a story, but I also found this film to have lots of comedy and heartfelt moments too. See it with a friend or your family even if they do drive you a little crazy.
