Yolanda Ingley II - "Woman Got to Cry" produced by Sam Teskey and recorded direct to analogue tape at Half Mile Harvest Studio in January 2018.
"Woman Got to Cry" features Yolanda's stunning vocals, original songs and the brilliant musicality of her own band as well as Sam Teskey (guitar) and Liam Gough (drums) of The Teskey Brothers.
Yolanda was recently featured live with Brian Nankervis on the Friday Revue (ABC 774). She has received regular airplay on 3RRR, PBS and 3CR: attracting critical acclaim since the release of her first album This Dangerous Age (2016). Also featured on ABC RN's The Music Show with Andrew Ford, ABC 774's Sundays with Libbi Gore, the album went on to become The Basement Discs bestselling album for 2016 and was featured in Rhythms Magazine.
As a mature artist, Yolanda started singing Jazz in the 1980's but is humble about the success of her debut release as she only began writing songs in the last few years. She has been surprised and delighted with the response she has had to her song writing.
Yolanda's band includes Monica Weightman (indigenous singer, guitarist) Steve Dagg,(Swingin Sidewalks) Olaf Scott, (Saskwatch) Stephen Blackburn (Fast Forward), Johnny O'Hagan (Circus Oz). It's an all star cast.
