I got this movie to see what it was like and enjoyed it, and to see the Rock in a totally different movie and character its was good and funny, its well worth a watch and enjoyable

In 1994 director Joe Johnston and Robin Williams struck gold with ‘Jumanji’. One of the rare cases of ‘lightning gin a bottle’. The film blended Williams’s signature style of comedy with adventure and drama to great effect. So when it was announced that Columbia Pictures were going to reboot the property, I was sceptical and had my doubts. It is so hard to re-create movie magic and without Robin Williams to star, I just did not think the film would be able to pull it off and make it work. So, how was ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’? ‘Jake Kasdan directs this reboot ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ which brings the franchise to the modern era, replacing the board game with a video game. The film stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black as our games avatars which provided great comedy throughout. The film is fantastic, it is funny, starring a fantastic cast that all work so well together. The writing of these characters really fits with the actors strengths, Kevin Hart plays the quick-talking ‘Franklin (Mouse) Finbar’ And it plays to his strengths as a comedic actor. The Rock plays the stoic, hero-type, Dr. Bravestone, which again plays to his strengths as well as an actor. Jack Black stands out as my favourite among the cast, he is funny, over-the-top and endlessly entertaining in the film. The fun action set pieces and witty dialogue provide a blend of comedy. Action and adventure making this film feel like a real genre mash, providing something for all audiences. The film also has a great score and soundtrack. If studios are looking for a guide on how you can reboot your franchise, use Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle as the guide. With a great cast, a fun premise and a great sense of humour, ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ is fun for the whole family. Pick this one up on 4K UHD today as it looks stunning.
