The Farm is a story about the pressures on a marriage, a family and a community as they struggle to come to terms with radical changes in the economy, the climate and modern banking practices. This is a David and Goliath story of individuals refusing to be crushed by powerful forces and of the compelling emotional journey for farming couple, Tom and Liz Cooper, and their children. This 3 part mini-series stars Greta Scacchi (Looking for Alibrandi, White Mischief) and Colin Friels (Water Rats, Cosi) and was directed by Kate Woods (Looking for Alibrandi). It was stunningly photographed in the Yass, Canowindra and Cowra regions of New South Wales.
