She taught Blackwaterside to Bert Jansch; he recorded it on the Jack Orion album. Bert’s instrumental version was used by Jimmy Page as the basis for the Led Zeppelin recording Black Mountain Side. Anne’s The Time Has Come was recorded by Pentangle for their Sweet Child Album. Sandy Denny wrote The Pond and the Stream about Anne and Richard Thompson is widely rumoured to have based Beeswing on her ‘sixties lifestyle.
