The Baby Animals self–titled album was first released in 1991 and spent six weeks at #1 on the ARIA chart, eventually going eight times platinum and becoming the highest selling debut Australian rock album of all time (until the release of Jet's album, 'Get Born' 12 years later.
In 2010 the album was listed in the book, 100 Best Australian Albums of all time.
The 25th Anniversary deluxe package includes a live concert (14 tracks) recording in Boston, USA whilst the band were on tour with Van Halen.
