Private Investigator Thomas Magnum likes the good life. How could he not when serving as the permanent 'house guest' of celebrated author Robin Masters at his luxury Hawaiian getaway in exchange for his security expertise? He takes on only cases that suit him but they usually end up bringing him face to face with drug dealers, assassins, brutal thugs and a bevy of beautiful Hawaiian ladies. The natural successor to television's Hawaii Five-0, MAGNUM, P.I. went on to become a long-running hit thanks to Tom Selleck's cheeky performance, the glamorous surroundings, action plots and comic interplay with John Hillerman as Higgins.
