Releasing their long-awaited Grey Wing album entitled 'Amoroso',this trio of piano, trumpet and drums have an incredible hyper-lyrical andimprovisational rapport. Their dynamic and exploratory improvising plays offcompositions that are often delicate and texturally versatile. Described as"intriguing and impulsive and, yes, epic, the band playfully explores alternateforms and endings, discovering in-the-moment colours. They draw their musicfrom diverse influences; certainly jazz with heavy interests from 20th centuryand early classical music, folk traditions and texture-based rovisational music.
