Melbourne 10-piece Dorsal Fins is the brainchild of Liam McGorry, the driving force behind Saskwatch and contributor to Eagle & The Worm, alongside trumpeter and songwriter vocals from Jarrad Brown (Eagle & The Worm) and Ella Thompson.

Liam experiments with new sounds and processes and the beauty of throwing a bunch of musical legends into a room to create something special. McGorry describes the progression of the project as "organic, no bells and whistles."

Their debut album 'Mind Renovation' is a dazzling journey of controlled chaos, traversing the broadest spectrums of pop music; from synth-laden ditties to dreamy, ethereal ballads to brain-bending grooves, captivating throughout the entire record.
