Sleater-Kinney's new record 'No Cities To Love' is the first in 10 years from the acclaimed trio – Brownstein, vocalist/guitarist Corin Tucker, and drummer Janet Weiss – who came crashing out of the '90s Pacific Northwest riot grrrl scene, setting a new bar for punk's political insight and emotional impact.

Seemingly out of the blue, 'No Cities To Love' was recorded in secret at Tiny Telephone Recordings in San Francisco in early 2014. It features all the original members that have worked on the band's most riveting and explosive work, including 'The Woods' and 'Dig Me Out'.

The new record was produced by John Goodmanson who produced many of the bands earlier records including their 1997 classic 'Dig Me Out.' The first single from the album, "Bury Our Friends," is a searing track that showcases the extent of Sleater-Kinney's ability to turn a guitar into a whiplash-inducing cyclone of sound.

Formed in Olympia, WA in 1994, Sleater-Kinney were hailed as "America's best rock band" by Greil Marcus in Time Magazine, and put out seven searing albums in 10 years before going on indefinite hiatus in 2006.
