The first release From Red Horse, the exciting new "supergroup" in the tradition of the late 1990s' ensemble Cry, Cry, Cry! Comprised of folk Heroes Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka and Lucy Kaplansky, the trio has created a new project awash in great harmony singing and songwriting. A special aspect of the album is that it features each of these legendary singer/ songwriters soloing on classics first made famous by the other two members. They also perform exciting new material and covers they have never before recorded and revisit and rearrange a couple of early classics. The trio will be touring in support of the release.
