ABC3's Logie award-winning children's show My Place is returning with a second series. Based on the much loved Australian childrens classic by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins, My Place tells the story of the children who live in one place over 130 years. Picking up the story from Henry in 1878, we go back through the years to Barangaroos adventures before white settlement. Henry knows in his heart that hes a brilliant inventor; he just has to convince his family and friends. Minna is blamed for a disaster caused by the Owen children and decides to seek her revenge. Benjamins one wish is for his wandering family to be able to celebrate a proper Thanksgiving dinner. Joanna works like a donkey and the Owen children treat her like one. But do they have the right to be so superior? Davey learns that his favourite horse is to be sold to the local tannery, so he puts everything on the line to save her. Alice and her friend, George, race their pet pigs to win a cake Charles doesnt want to go to England, so he strikes a deal with an escaped convict to stay. Sarah discovers she has more in common with the sickly Alice than she first thought. Sam, a child convict, is keen to impress his new master Mr Owen. The goat has other ideas. Waruwi has to use some clever tactics to keep a mob of meddling soldiers away. Dan is ordered to capture his new friend Waruwis dog. Bunda does everything to try and get his brothers attention, but all he gets is his sneers. Barangaroo has to search for her missing friend in a scary gully where lives a legendary monster.
