‘After The Fireworks’ is Emma’s second solo album, and wasrecorded over seven months at the General Store in South Gippsland, producedby Greg J. Walker (Paul Kelly, C.W. Stoneking, Clare Bowditch). Joining her onthis recording is an array of talented musicians including Sophie Koh, and PeteCohen (Sodastream), and Greg J. Walker who makes appearances on a rangeof instruments. Originally half of indie-pop duo ‘Gorgeous’, Heeney is truly inher element on this recording, with delicate arrangements underpinning herwistful tone. There is no doubt this is her finest work to date
