Based on the P.G. Wren novel, BEAU GESTE is the story of 'Beau' Graves, who flees America after confessing to a crime he didn't commit, and joins the French Foreign Legion. While there he serves under the ineffective Lieutenant De Ruse (Leslie Neilson) and the sadistic Sergeant Major Dajineau (Telly Savalas), whose torturous savagery drives the men under his command to the point of mutiny.
