Kelly Menhennett is a Riverland (country SA) born and bred singer songwriter of the alt-country/roots/soul variety. She spent many years on the land making red wine until she finally decided in 2007 to hang up her muddy boots, travel and make music. From captivating performances with her band at the Woodford Folk Festival to performing solo and intimate at the Bluebird Café for the Americana Festival, Kelly’s live show is not to be missed. On June 6th Kelly is releasing her highly anticipated 2nd album, "Small Dreams". It was recorded live over 3 days at Mr Lemons Studio, Nashville by respected producer Neilson Hubbard (Kim Richey, Mathew Ryan, Mathew Perryman Jones) with an all-star Nashville band featuring Carl Broemel of “My Morning Jacket” on electric guitar, Michael Rinne on bass, Evan Hutchings on drums, Kris Donegan on electric guitar and lap slide, Dan Mitchell on the keyboard and flugelhorn, Eamon McLoughlin playing the violin and David Henry on cello.
