Directed by Lee Daniels ('Precious'), 'The Butler' is an historical drama featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr, Vanessa Redgrave, Mariah Carey, and Robin Williams (plus many more!). Based on the real-life story of Eugene Allen, Whitaker stars as Cecil Gaines, an African-American who eyewitnesses notable events of the 20th century during his 34-year tenure serving as a White House butler.

The original Soundtrack features tracks by Dean Martin, Dinah Washington, The O'Jays, plus brand new songs written by Fantasia and Lenny Kravitz. Kravitz's song 'You And I Ain't Nothin' No More' is performed by Gladys Knight.

For the Original Score, the film-makers turned to Rodrigo Leao, best known as part of the Portuguese ensemble Madredeus.
