Born in North East Scotland, Canadian based singer/songwriter Ryan Donn will release his much anticipated sophomore CD 'This life' Nov, 2007. This self-titled album follows the commercially successful 2004 debut album "Causewayend". Voted "Male Performer of the Year" in 2004 by the Okanagan Music Awards. "Ryan Donn - This Life" will take song writing to a new height! "Ryan Donn - This life" CD, features 11 new emotionally impactful tunes showcasing Donn's familiar rhythmic acoustic, melodic vocals, and engaging lyrics. Written over the past 3 years the new material blends Donn's Scottish heritage, marriage, and his infectious passion for life. As an independent artist Donn has received amazing support and direction from his local community. He has been given the opportunity to represent Kelowna at the 2005 Expo in Japan, help co-write the Centennial song for the City of Kelowna, and be involved in numerous community initiatives including writing and performing "One Dream" for the local Terry Fox run. In support of his newest album, Donn will be focusing on not only local but regional and national airplay, performing at folk festivals, and organizing tours.
