This was Philadelphia's response to the Cabbage Patch dance craze that started on the West Coast and initiated by the World Class Wrecking Crew which featured a young Dr. Dre. Originally released in 1984, "Cabbage Patch Scratch" has become something of a collector's item among fans of early electro funk, the original vinyl trades hands among funk connoisseurs for big bucks.
