Four years on from the release of their second album ‘Science & Sorcery’ Wolf & Cub are thrilled to return with a new full-length release in ‘Heavy Weight’. In 2011 original Wolf & Cub members Joel Byrne & Joel Carey were joined by bassist Wade Keighran and multi-instrumentalist Brock Fitzgerald (both formerly of The Scare) to form an inspired and powerful line up boasting a sense of renewal and vitality.

The new line up commenced pre-production for ‘Heavy Weight’ back in 2011, but it wasn't until October 2012 that the band entered Sydney’s Linear Studios to record their new album. Recorded and produced by the band themselves, it makes sense that ‘Heavy Weight’ is the band’s most fully realized album to date. Wolf & Cub later enlisted long-time cohort Burke Reid (The Drones, Oh Mercy, and PVT) to mix their new recordings.
