Part euphoric church choir, part Day-Glo rock musical supergroup, The Polyphonic Spree, has returned with their fourth studio album "Yes, It's True".

"Yes, It's True" is their first original album since 2007. Frontman Tim Delaughter describes "Yes, It's True" as the band's most unorthodox recording session to date, producing the album in stages and recording a holiday release midway through tracking. As a result, the 11 tracks are particularly diverse, ranging from the euphoric first single 'You Don't Know Me' and somberly anthemic 'Blurry Up The Lines', to the reflective 'Battlefield', which Delaughter describes as his "most personal contribution".

'You Don't Know Me' opens the record with a driving drumbeat, drenched in a wall of sound full of meandering orchestral instrumentation. As the music reduces to percussion to make way for the verse, it's not too long until we're greeted with a trumpet sound that leads us to a choir of voices singing the beguiling hook.
