Writing the songs in the downtime from touring America andthe UK off the back of his debut album 'Firestarter', Parsons' bought a barebones assortment of equipment to compliment his tape machine. The songsrevolve around Dan's voice and his guitar, from the canyon canter of'Shoalhaven Night', the Dan Kellyesque psych-pop of 'Lay It All Down', theshare-house jamming of 'Oh Baby, When You Say It Like That" to the two micintimacy of 'Bad Circulation' or the numb ostinato of 'Close Your Eyes Let ItEnd', written for a childhood friend who took his life while Dan was on tour.
