The eleven songs on Night Walkin' cover a range of "roots" styles, still firmly based in the blues but pushing the boundaries! In addition to Dave's trademark 'stinging' Stratocaster electric guitar and downhome vocals, he shares solo duties on the album with Hammond B3 organ master Clayton Doley (Harry Manx, Mighty Reapers etc.) and is joined by regular band members Natalie Gillespie - backing vocals, Ric Eastman - drums, Lucky Oceans - Pedal Steel Guitar (one track) and newest recruit, Wayne Freer on electric and acoustic bass. The Night Walkin' recording sessions have captured the essence of what "soulful" music is all about - great grooves and passionate solos!
