Last year Snoop visited Jamaica to explore the Rastafari movement and was dubbed Snoop Lion by a Rastafari high priest. A camera team from Vice accompanied him on the trip and filmed the documentary ‘Reincarnated’. Snoop’s journey led him to record an accompanying album of reggae songs which was produced by Diplo and the Major Lazer team and features Drake, Rita Ora, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus.

The two teaser tracks from the album – Lighters Up and Here Comes The King – have amassed more than 5 million Vevo views.

First single ‘No Guns Allowed’ features Drake and Snoop’s daughter Cori B and is about trying to bring awareness and push love and peace at a time when gun reform is a prominent topic.
