Co-founder of the former Brisbane indie-orchestra Inland Sea, twenty-six year old Jeremy Hunter is now stepping out on his own with a debut EP of acoustic folk-rock songs of a somewhat different bent. A multiinstrumentalist, he resolved to play every instrument himself in an effort to find the true feel of the songs and catch hold of exactly what he wanted to express. The result is a heartfelt mix of instruments, styles and sounds, ranging from up-tempo power ballads to delicate folk tracks and cathartic blues numbers, all fusing a penchant for poetic imagery with an ear for a good melody.
