Having established a strong history as modern jazz trio, Misinterprotato, they now signify their step toward the future with a new name, Trichotomy, and new album, FACT FINDING MISSION. The core instruments of piano, bass and drums feature throughout, but are joined by Tunji Beier – percussion, Linsey Pollak – reeds, and James Muller – guitar, on works that augment the ensemble, enhancing the music to incorporate elements from European and Indian folk traditions. Jazz inspired but captivating with its musical clarity and sense of place.
