Costa Rica melodic punk quintet Overseas formed in San José October 2011, and after already playing shows with bands such as The Lawrence Arms, a year later are ready to release their debut 12" Vinyl EP “O Captain! My Captain!”. Recorded in Costa Rica by engineer Marcos Monnerat and mastered in the U.S by Mass Giorgini (Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Anti-Flag) “O Captain! My Captain!” features guest vocals from Ben Kotin of Such Gold and spans 8 songs. With a sound in the vein of Four Year Strong, The Story So Far, and Title Fight, Overseas is currently preparing for shows with Rise Against and The Wonder Years, and will be heading out on tour next year in support of the record with Australia in their sights.
